Introducing Colchester Chiropractor Dr. Aaron Casey

In 1979 a very important individual in my life had a severe stroke. The individual that I am speaking about is my uncle, who at the time was only 16 years old. He lost the ability to walk, talk, and to use his right arm and leg. He worked with a number of doctors and therapists to regain his strength and speech, but the progress was slow and he thought his life was over. A friend of his convinced him to give their doctor a try. This new doctor does an examination, takes some x-rays and then "adjusts" my uncle's spine. The adjustment doesn't hurt, it actually feels good. He went on to regain his strength and learn to walk and talk again. Oh, did I mention that this doctor was a chiropractor? It worked so well and changed his life that he became a chiropractor.  I was so impressed with the other "miracles" and the lives I saw changed in his office, that I too, went to chiropractic school.

Colchester, Connecticut Chiropractor, Dr. Aaron Casey

I earned a bachelors degree at St. John's University with a major in biology with emphasis in basic sciences such as chemistry, physics, anatomy, and physiology. A highlight of my time there was a semester spent at the University of Notre Dame in Perth, Australia. While in Perth, I earned a certificate of international studies. Following my undergraduate work I enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. During my four years at Palmer, courses included biochemistry, with a major emphasis being placed on anatomy & human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Palmer College Clinic. In my senior year I traveled to Bahia, Brazil where I was a part of a group of students and doctors treating hundreds of people without access to health care. This experience was tremendously inspirational and trip was very rewarding. I have plans to return as soon as possible.

Our goal at Casey Chiropractic is to change lives through chiropractic. We see the most amazing outcomes in our office every single day. From helping patients with chronic pain regain their ability to live their lives normally, to managing or even eliminating debilitating headaches. Our office provides a warm welcoming environment for those seeking freedom from pain and for those looking to maintain and even improve their current state of health.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I play tennis year round and in the winter I'm an avid snowboarder. I also spend quite a bit of time on the bike both in the woods and on the road.

For me, maintaining the health of my spine is not only a healthy habit but an essential part of my life. I get adjusted once a week to maintain alignment and to allow my nervous system to function at its best.

Enough about me! How can we help you with today's safe and natural chiropractic care? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health.

Dr. Aaron Asks some important questions of interest to Colchester residents - Chiropractor Colchester Dr. Aaron Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Colchester and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic patient knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
